Hello!
You often ask us what the real difference is between our two popular models, Febo Fall and Febo Go. We’ve decided to summarize it clearly for you, so you can choose the right shoes for your children for this transitional season.
Here are the key points from our comparison:

Purpose and season
Both models are an ideal choice for the transitional period; in barefoot terminology, they are considered all-season shoes. We recommend Febo Fall mainly for autumn weather, while Febo Go is classified as spring footwear. However, this doesn’t mean you can’t use Fall shoes in spring or Go shoes in autumn – both models handle both seasons very well.
Cut and height
-
Febo Fall is a higher ankle shoe that provides more coverage around the ankle.
-
Febo Go is a low-cut, ankle-height, all-leather sneaker.
Materials used
-
Febo Fall features a recyclable textile membrane, with both the lining and the insole made from breathable textile materials.
-
Febo Go relies on a classic approach – all-leather sneakers with a lining and insole made from high-quality leather.
Shared features
-
Both models are made on the same last, so their basic shape is identical.
-
Both shoes have the protective “asfaltico” toe bumper, which effectively prevents scuffing and extends the lifespan of the shoes.
Who are they suitable for?
-
Designed for “flipper-shaped” feet – wider in the forefoot with a narrow heel.
-
Suitable for normal to lower insteps.
-
If your child has a slightly higher instep, the Febo Go model tends to accommodate it better thanks to its specific cut.

Myth vs. reality: Are Febo Go wider around the ankle?
Some parents believe that the Febo Go model is looser around the ankle than Febo Fall. We’d like to clear up this myth:
-
Same heel: Both shoes are made on the same last, so the heel fit is identical down to the millimeter.
-
Visual illusion: The difference lies only in the cut. Febo Go is a lower sneaker that leaves the ankle exposed, while Febo Fall is higher and physically covers the ankle area.
-
Feel vs. fit: Because the Fall model extends higher, it may feel more supportive. In reality, both models hold the heel equally securely.
Our recommendation:
If your child has narrow ankles, you don’t need to worry about choosing either model. Both provide the same reliable heel support – the only difference is how high the material reaches above the ankle.

We hope this overview helps you make your decision! :)
